Euro Jet Ready For Romania’s EU Presidency

Euro Jet is proud to announce that as of January 1, 2019, Romania is now hosting the Presidency of the  Council of the European Union for the next six months.

During this time, Romania’s capital city, Bucharest, will welcome many of Europe’s top leaders. Bucharest Otopeni Airport (OTP/LROP) will be the main airport for all incoming business aviation traffic related to this event. We also expect to see a lot traffic at the alternate airport in Bucharest - Baneasa Airport (BBU/LRBS).

During it’s Presidency, Romania will also host The Future of Europe Summit on May 9, 2019. This event will be held in Sibiu, Romania (SBZ/LRSB), which is approximately 300 km from Bucharest.
